Collected from newspaper archives across Europe each picture has a history of its own. The vast collection includes the famous and the infamous – Hollywood and TV stars, royals, sports personalities and politicians. Each photograph for sale is an original and, although once produced for mass publication, many of these old press photos have been lost or destroyed over the years so they are rare and sought after. Which is why IMS, experts in the digitisation process, also scan and store each photograph before it’s sold so that the images are preserved for the future.
